Lucas & Rebecca Gibbs

Since beginning her design career in 2008, Rebecca has gained the reputation of being an insightful, fresh and down-to-earth designer. She incorporates a layering and mixing of styles throughout her work in order to create a distinctive style that is unique to every project. Rebecca maintains her licensing through the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners as a Registered Interior Designer.

In the complex task of building a home, having the knowledgeable and honest coordination that Lucas provides is invaluable. In addition to the management of building your home, Lucas is also the finish carpenter on his projects. This ensures that each project receives the highest quality cabinetry and millwork with beautiful custom detailing. With a Masters in Sustainable Building Practices and an AP accreditation in Residential Design through LEED, Lucas is constantly striving to build better homes that will last for generations.

Bringing an excellent eye for design and a passion for true craftsmanship to each of their projects, Lucas and Rebecca Gibbs have grown their company in the West Texas town of Abilene. Working as a team to create beautiful homes for over ten years they have gained the experience to guide their clients through the ins and outs of designing and building beautiful homes from start to finish.

Lucas And Rebecca both graduated in 2008 from Abilene Christian University where they studied Pre-Architecture, Interior Design, Architecture History, and Business Management. They live in Abilene, Texas with their four sons Brock, Grayson, Forrest + Silas.

Bradye McQueen

OAKSTREET DESIGNER Bradye has a great eye for design. She does a beautiful job working closely with clients and contractors to achieve stunning spaces. She has a Master's degree in merchandising and is meticulous about spreadsheets and checklists. She and her husband Josh have two beautiful children (Esther + Liam). Marilyn Salazar

OAKSTREET DESIGNER Marilyn graduated from ACU in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in interior design. When she's not designing, she's traveling to photograph places that inspire her or reading about the history of fashion design. marilyn@gibbsdesignbuild.com
Jordan Harrell

DESIGN COORDINATOR Jordan is a native Abilenian. She is a talented writer and has a heart of gold. She joined the Gibbs Design+Build team to work closely with Rebecca to coordinate everything from product ordering and bookkeeping to website and store management. Jon Steffins

PROJECT MANAGER Jon is always onsite to coordinate and oversee. He is extremely detail oriented and our clients always love him. Don't be surprised if you hear him chatting it up in Spanish with the tradespeople; he is quite fluent. Jon is Rebecca's dad and goes by Papa at the Gibbs' home! He and his wife Cheryl (Rebecca's mother) always have an open door at their home. They love spending evenings on their back porch with family + friends. jon@gibbsdesignbuild.com
